Welcome to the brand for the believers.
I grew up in a Christian home, where I knew all the do’s and don’ts of religion. I knew how to practice religion, but I had no idea what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus. As I got older, I realized there was a major difference between simply going to church and having the church alive in me.
In 1992, shortly after graduating high school, I hit a point of exhaustion — tired of the partying, the drinking, the empty lifestyle, and the endless search for fulfillment. Deep down, I knew there had to be more to life than what I was living. That “more” wasn’t another habit or another weekend — it was Jesus. Not just attending church, but truly knowing Him… experiencing His love in a way the world could never offer.
When you encounter something that incredible, you naturally want to share it.
Out of that passion, God inspired me to start what would eventually become Jesus And Me Clothing Co. Fashion was never my dream or ambition, so stepping into the industry felt uncomfortable at first — but I was confident that this vision came from God. He gave me the name. He gave me the crown logo. He gave me the purpose.
In the 90s, hip-hop culture and major fashion labels were exploding. As a Christian, I didn’t see anything that reflected my faith or the lifestyle I wanted to represent. There was a void — no Christian-based streetwear brand that aligned with what I believed.
So in 1999, Jesus And Me was born.
Jesus And Me Clothing Co. exists for those who are tired of religion and desire a real, authentic relationship with Jesus. For the ones who believe that all things are possible to those who believe. For people who love everybody, serve all people, and know that with Jesus we can overcome every challenge, failure, mistake, and setback — and come out with a testimony that:
“Life is way better with Jesus.”
